Description
The Nanocrine Contact Guidance Biochip Starter Kit is designed to provide everything you need to run experiments using our contact guidance biochips.
Each kit includes 3 slides: 1 ea. of 330 nm depth, 720 nm depth, and 1 μm depth Contact Guidance Biochips as well as 1 nanocrine Biochip Mount.
Nanocrine Contact Guidance Biochips provide atomically smooth features at multiple depths that are known to dictate numerous forms of cell behavior from elongation to stem cell renewal.
Each Contact Guidance Biochip contains 4 duplicate arrays, with each array containing 8 unique patterned groove sets, enabling researchers access to robust data output per experiment. Grooves are etched, separated by gaps of 2.5 to 20 µm (in x) at depths of 330 nm, 720 nm, and 1 µm (in z).
Users can coat Contact Guidance Biochip with coating method of their choice such as fibronectin, laminin, etc.
Contact Guidance Biochips are offered in #1 and #2 thickness depending on experimental requirements of numerical aperture and magnification for imaging (#1 for universal imaging, #2 for low magnification).
Key Features:
Anisotropic vertical etching of grooves creates clean features with near 90° angles
Multiplexed patterns per array and multiplexed array per chip enables robust data generation per experiment across several treatments
Lot-validated atomically smooth surfaces (Ra < 1 nm)
Navigation landmarks are etched on slide, allowing user to maintain orientation.
Specification:
Contact Guidance Biochips are lot validated by atomic force microscopy for average surface roughness (Ra) < 1 nm.
Storage & Handling:
Shipped sterile, cold, with desiccant and oxygen absorber.
Store 2-8 C and protect from light.
Handle with tweezers
